We collect voice recordings during AI-powered phone interviews with job candidates. These recordings may be considered biometric data under CPRA.
How We Use Voice Recordings:
- Interview Assessment: Evaluate candidate responses and communication skills
- Transcription: Convert speech to text for analysis and review
- Quality Assurance: Review interview quality and AI performance
Safeguards in Place:
- Explicit Consent: Clear consent required before recording
- Encryption: AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit
- Limited Retention: Automatically deleted after 90 days
- Purpose Limitation: Used ONLY for hiring assessment
- No AI Training: Not used to train AI models without separate consent

How to Limit Use of Your Sensitive Personal Information
Your Options
1Decline Voice/Video Interviews
You can decline to participate in AI voice or video interviews. We will offer alternative assessment methods:
- Written response questionnaire
- Traditional human phone interview
- In-person interview (if feasible)
No Penalty: You will not be discriminated against for choosing an alternative.
2Request Human Review
If you've already completed an AI interview, you can request that a human reviewer assess your responses instead of relying solely on AI analysis.
