What happens if a candidate has technical issues during their video interview?
Candidates are prompted to test their camera and microphone before the interview begins, which catches most issues in advance.
If a problem occurs during the interview:
- The candidate can attempt to reconnect — the session is preserved briefly
- If the session cannot be recovered, the candidate can contact HiringPartner support via the invitation email
As the hiring manager, you can re-issue the interview link from the candidate's profile page in your dashboard for any candidate whose session ended due to a verified technical failure.
