How long does HiringPartner store candidate data?

Data retention periods are governed by the Data Processing Agreement between HiringPartner and each employer customer.

Default retention windows:

  • Active pipeline candidates: retained for the duration of the hiring process plus a configurable post-hire period
  • Rejected candidates: retained for a configurable period to allow for audit and reconsideration, then automatically deleted
  • Interview recordings and transcripts: follow the same retention schedule as the candidate record

Employers can configure shorter retention windows to meet internal policies. Candidates can also submit a deletion request at any time via privacy@hiringpartner.ai and their data will be erased within 30 days, subject to identity verification.
