How is candidate consent managed?
Consent is captured at the point of candidate engagement, before any data processing begins.
When a candidate receives a HiringPartner communication (call or interview link), they are informed:
- What data will be collected
- The name of the employer conducting the process
- That HiringPartner is a third-party processor acting on the employer's behalf
- That the call or interview will be recorded
- Their right to decline and what happens if they do
Consent records are timestamped and stored in the platform. If a candidate withdraws consent at any point, their data processing stops immediately and they are flagged in your dashboard. Their data can be fully deleted upon request.
Candidates who do not consent are not penalised in any way — they simply exit the pipeline and the employer is notified.
