How does the HiringPartner AI video interview work?

Candidates who pass Phase 2 receive an email with a link to complete an AI video interview. The booking window is configurable (default: 72 hours) — candidates can schedule and complete the interview at a time that suits them.

Here is how the interview works:

1. The candidate opens the link in their browser — no app download required
2. HiringPartner's AI interviewer appears on screen and introduces itself as an AI
3. The AI asks structured questions tailored to the role and competency areas you configured
4. The AI adapts in real time — it listens to each answer and asks intelligent follow-up questions based on what the candidate said, rather than moving to a pre-set next question
5. Responses are recorded, transcribed, and scored across four dimensions during and after the interview
6. The candidate receives a confirmation once the interview is complete

There is no need to coordinate your team's schedule — candidates interview asynchronously and results are available in your dashboard once complete.
