How are candidates scored across the HiringPartner pipeline?

HiringPartner produces scores at each phase that combine into a final composite score:

Phase 1 — Resume Score (0–100): How closely the candidate's background matches your job criteria. Candidates must exceed the configured threshold (default: 40/100) to advance to Phase 2.

Phase 2 — Call Score (0–100): Based on the AI phone screen or email form — interest level, response quality, and role fit signals. Must exceed the Phase 2 threshold (default: 40/100) to advance to Phase 3.

Phase 3 — Interview Score (0–100): The most detailed stage. The AI assesses candidates across four specific dimensions:

  • Technical Score: domain knowledge and role-specific competency
  • Communication Score: clarity, structure, and articulation
  • Problem-Solving Score: analytical thinking and approach to challenges
  • Cultural Fit Score: alignment with role context and working style

Composite Score: A weighted combination of all phase scores, producing a single ranking number for the full pipeline.

Candidates who do not meet the threshold at any phase are marked REJECTED and do not advance further.
